About I am You. We are the same.

What?
It is about a new proposal, a new initative to create a movement or a cause to promote World Peace and Human Rights based on the recognition of "the other as you".

How?
Our idea is based in changing the false division that our world suffers: Friend-Enemy. The Other as different, inferior and opposed, a menace to us.

We find this division among human beings, among cultures, religion, political vision, political parties, nationalities, life philosophies.We think that it is very important to make you see that this division is ideological.

We are all the same: HUMAN BEINGS
We all deserve the same worthy treatment and respect and deserve that our Human Rights are recognized to us, protected and guaranteed.

We are all born the same.

Our Initiative is centered in transmitting a message of meditation through the circulation of our message and slogan, as well as of a symbolic way, through the use of a baby blue Ribbon.

The Baby Blue Ribbon Idea is to identify our cause with a symbol so that this new way of thinking Friend-Friend. I am you. We are the same. is omnipresent and makes us meditate, we the civil society, as well as our political leaders at the time of making decisions.


Why?
Because we think we all deserve to be respected, we all deserve to have Human Rights beyond our gender, race, religion, ideology, capacities, preferences, ethnic or national origin, age, social condition, conditions of health, opinions, civil state, etc...

Nowadays the political leaders divide us in a false dicothomy: friend-enemy, where one word has more and positive wight and the other is the subject to fight, we have to win against his threat, because, they tell us, the other is a threat to our status quo. And that is only because "he/she is different"

I/we against The Others
I/we against The Other political view/party
I/we against The Other religion
I/we against The Other culture
I/we against The Other nationality
I/we against The Other gender
I/we against The Other race
I/we against The Other sexual preference
etcetera....

Here I/we has a positive value and "The Other" a negative one. We loose the real meaning of the words and we give them a new one, all ends in two possibilities: good-bad, black-white.
Also, according to this way of thinking, we are either with us, other with "them", we have to choose and when we don´t or when we choose the others, then we are traitors.


Tjis way of thinking uses G.W. Bush in his axis of the willing vs. axis of the evil, is the one that was used by the III Reich, is the one that has been used for thousands of years to discriminate women and black people, is the one that is used today by many countries of the European Union to regulate Inmigration, is the one that is still used in Latinamerica to diminish the indigenous people.

Let´s put an end to it!

For what?
To change our way of thinking.
The Civil Society is responsable of this change, we cannot leave everything to our political leaders. After all, there are lots of great and succesfull examples of Non-governmental Organisations.

Think about the AIDS red Ribbon or the Pink Ribbon against Breast Cancer.

The idea is ambitious, yes. But every Dream is ambitious. Isn´t it?

It is only about "to pass the voice and using the BabyBlue Ribbon".
